The following terms and conditions apply when you are using the platform owned by The Student Promise:

There are some words in these terms and conditions that TSP would like to define. These definitions are the same for other TSP documents such as the User Agreement:

“User” refers to you, the natural person accessing this platform and accepting the terms and conditions of The Student Promise.

“The Service Provider” refers to our company, The Student Promise (hereinafter TSP).

“Party” or “Parties” refers to both the User and the Service Provider, or either the User or the Service Provider.

All terms refer to the offer, its acceptance and consideration of payments will be concluded and governed by Dutch Law. The submission to Dutch Law does not exclude any consumer rights that you might have according to your national law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.


TSP complies with the legal requirements as stated in the Data Protection Act 2018; the General Data Protection Regulation, the Law on Protection of Personal Data No 6698 and other laws and regulations relating to data protection and privacy when processing Personal Data. By using this platform, you understand that your personal data will be collected, used, storage, transferred and disclosure in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable laws. TSP is committed to protecting your privacy.

Only authorized employees within TSP and its affiliates will have access to your personal data. The access is based on the principle “need to know basis “. TSP employees will only use information collected from customers to provide services. TSP constantly reviews its systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. Exclusions and Limitations The information on this platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TSP: is not responsible for any misunderstandings or mistakes that you might have when reading information provided by TSP or its affiliates in the agreements or policies or any other document and;

is not responsible for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this platform. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or you have inform TSP of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or indirect damages.

The above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your rights as a consumer are affected.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is possible at the end of the 12-month subscription period, or every month after the initial period has passed. A one month notice of cancellation is required. Notification needs to be done in writing to info@thestudentpromise.com. We reserve the right to charge you for any service that you have already enjoyed. Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy Both the User and the Service Provider have the right to terminate any signed agreement if one of the following circumstances occurs: The User can withdraw from the User Agreement within 14 (fourteen) days after its conclusion. The User needs to inform TSP in writing of the intention to withdraw from the User Agreement. The User needs to pay for the services already enjoyed. The User does not need to mention any reason for the withdrawal. The User needs to send an email to: support@thestudentpromise.com. The User has the right to terminate the contract after the initial period of 1 (one) year by sending a written termination notice to: support@thestudentpromise.com one calendar month before the end date of the contract. The User will not receive any refund for the services already provided. The User may end the agreement on a monthly basis after the initial 12-month period. TSP has the right to terminate the contract if TSP does not receive the payment as stated in the User Agreement. The refund will take place 30 days after receipt of the termination notice. Availability

The services offered on this platform are only available to individuals aged eighteen or over. All advertising is intended solely for adults. You are responsible for evaluating the appropriateness for a particular purpose of any downloads, services or products through this platform. Redistribution or copying of any part of this platform or its content is prohibited. The Service Provider strives to provide the best availability of the service. Nevertheless, TSP cannot warrant that this site will be uninterrupted, timely or error free. TSP will try to fix any kind of error as soon as possible. By using this platform, you understand that TSP, its employees, agents and affiliates are not responsible for any loss or damage, in whatever manner, howsoever you might suffer when using this platform.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within TSP on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.


Like most platforms the TSP’s platform uses cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. If the User does create a link to a page of this platform the User does so at his/her own risk and the exclusions and limitations set out above will apply to his/her use of this platform by linking to it. Force Majeure

Neither the User or TSP shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under the terms and conditions and the User Agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or manmade result outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could not have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall immediately inform the other Party of the same and will try its best to comply with the terms and conditions of the User Agreement contained herein. Severity

If any of the clauses of the terms and conditions and/or the User Agreement is defined to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity or unenforceability shall ascribe only to such clause(s) or part of such clause(s) and the remaining part of such clause(s) and all other clauses of the terms and conditions and/or the User Agreement shall continue to be in full effect and force. Waiver

Failure of either the User or TSP to insist upon strict performance of any clause of the terms and conditions and/or the User Agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled to hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and will not amount to the inapplicability of those obligations. No waiver of any of the provisions of this terms and conditions or the User Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties. Notification of Changes

TSP reserves the right to change these terms and conditions; the User Agreement; the Privacy Policy and/or the cookies statement. You will be informed about any material changes to the policies and agreements. You have the possibility to object against the changes that TSP will take. If there are any changes in how TSP uses customers’ personal data, notification by e-mail will be made to those affected by this change. Any changes to our privacy policy will be published in our website, we recommend you check it often. Governing Law

These terms and conditions and the User Agreement are created and ruled in compliance with the laws of the Netherlands without reference to conflict of laws principles. The User has the right to bring legal actions against TSP in his/her country of residence as stipulated in the Consumer Rights Legislation. These terms and conditions apply to all use of the platform. They also form part of the User Agreement between the User and the Service Provider. Your accessing of this platform and/or using of services or concluding the User Agreement indicates your understanding, agreement to and acceptance of the full Terms and Conditions contained herein.
